already stripped down

already the apt feels empty. ugly desolate, un-lived in. or about to be. even the next few weeks will be so lonely so hollow and sad. i'll be fine. but it's the end of an era. the end of the world as i know it. my one and only partner in the crime of moving to California moves out this week. and it's all very sudden and rushed and anti-climactic. and sad. really strange and weird.
