and what you forget. totally true. about our conversation on broken english, it made me think today about songs when you don't know the lyrics and what you think it says is so cool though mysterious (ie what does that mean? hmmm) and then you learn what it says and it's something too concrete or obvious and then it's a little bit disappointing; or if not disappointing, just not what you thought and for a moment you think, 'hmm i actually like it better the way i thought it was '.
