"guys have such better personalities/ are so much funnier than girls"

as an excuse for why guys focus on girls' appearance. (later to learn that it was "implied" that his sisters form an exception). learning things from little brother:) that guys would therefore so much rather hang out with each other and only have girls around for their looks? Is that what he was saying? mystifying. of course we are talking HIGH SCHOOL. and yet, he is my most honest insight into the male species;) so i can't discount it entirely. what about guys 10-15 yrs older? does the same logic at all apply? why do they continue to hang around in that case? fun times with schroeds and gma tonight. Uncle Don ragging me incessantly. about Scott/Jake:D haaaaaaaaalarious. Gma cracking up and AC and Melix impressions of certain residents of RP. That silent "hurts her body" laugh. AC rolling on the floor when Mel imitated mom's intense hand gesturing, wide-eyed explanation of points. laughing with cuz and swimming with her and gail. really really great. good to be home. 5 months out is a long time. grilling of the UD about my plan. "What's his name" in regards to why I've stayed in SF:) No one thought I would. How much I have changed. It's sad a little bit. That I no longer (not that I ever did) want a bubba, or can really see myself living here. I don't know. It's altogether weird.
