So. i finally took boards. The tropical storm down in N. O. put our power out for 48 hrs and knocked some serious branches down in the yard, but I still took the test. Now is the waiting game! We headed home in the sweltering and suffocating humidity after a night in Alabama for being refreshed. It has been tight tight fun time with Grandma (who we also evacuated with us to escape the coming hurricane) and family. If only I could learn to love them better. So selfish and cruel at times. WHY. It's mainly one sister in particular. I guess I've got issues. Anyhow, I saw my best friend from high school today, miss New York publisher. She's in for a short stay before starting her big job and it was so nice to sit and chill and talk like old times. It's been much too long. Been trying to catch up with friends before the big move west. Boy have I got packing to do!
