unnerving

dreamed that jack had a group of us CGers over to his apartment, though we had discussed him cooking soup for us in China. I knew i was supposed to work, but the schedule was changing, confusing. I ended up going and the city was weird, foreign, big buildings, sprawling, grey. We had a friend in a wheelchair we had to get up a flight of stairs, a nurse escorted him in the wheelchair to the bldg. Johnn Newbill was there (??) and he was sick and left early and I was concerned about our sick friend. Anna wasn't there but I saw her in a car after that and we waved and talked. So i missed half of 1 shift (more, till 2 or 3) and it was night shift. The next day I was on day shift, but I went to Jack's thing instead and then Thuy calls me like where are you? It was like 8am and I said I had just woken up then I said I had been at a friends' house and she was like ????? I thought you just woke up and I was like crap she caught me lying then the phone started breaking up and I said I'd be there in 20 min (i was in this Bellevue house for some reason). So then at work, afraid of being chewed out by my boss, we were sitting around getting candy. There was a chocolate house in the mix. Some guy next to me that I never saw before asked to have some of my candy. I said yes. He ate half of the chocolate house, i was a little weirded out, but it was just candy, whatever, you know? Then I saw the box. The chocolate house was $640 and if you keep it intact you would get $100,000 towards the house you would buy. I was trying to not be angry....
