"never heard a fish wish he could be a frog

so if you ever wish that you were someone else just try and be content just to be yourself"

the world in silent stillness lay to hear the angels sing

Don't sabotage your own life

Trust God and follow, listen to Him.
I'm so blessed, omygosh.

I believe in the exception. I believe in grace.

Life is messy. We can do all we want to plan and choose perfectly, but life's a mystery.

No one knows just what the future holds. We can't know the future. We can't know fully as God knows. We can't fathom all that there is to fathom or comprehend. We can but only lean on Him.

lightning bug extinguishers and joslap

i need to go to bed!

catching up an old friend...

am in San Francisco. I'm working on the General Medicine floor at UCSF that i've been working on for just over 2 years now. I like it. It's really really hard work, but i am learning a lot and get to love on people all day. It's a mix of sheer frustration and great reward. I've been orienting new nurses to the unit lately and i like the teaching role this puts me in. I live in an apartment in the city, 10 blocks from my work with a wonderful Christian nurse Jung Hee. She's Korean American and a wonderful blessing and great friend. I LOVE my church here and have been involved with a homeless ministry called City Team, as well as a small group (CG)which has given me amazing friends. I just got home from a night of hanging out; we ate at a korean restaurant then to an ice cream shop with exotic flavors (i had jasmine green tea flavor; but sampled the hideous onion and rotten cheese tasting durian flavour before utilizing the wheel to select my flavor for me) then onto play board games (hoopla, sabateur, and scrabble) at anna's house. I am so blessed to have these friends these brothers and sisters to share my life's joys and woes with:) A lot has happened and there is so much i could tell you! But i still take trips to nashville every 3 months or so to see my wonderful siblings, and i'm still a single girl. Still plan to do missions overseas at some point and still gaining experience and skills in the nursing field and feel blessed that God brought me to this beautiful and broken city.
