sometimes a little tipsy is the most true you're going to get

realized ever since Dre the gravity of things. the weight, the sheer immenence of it all. of people. of the secret burdens they silently bear. the most incredible and wonderful people harboring the deepest feelings of despair, guilt, loss. "you don't know me, you don't know me...." the least suspected. especially guys. dre, erik, perry..... how IMPORTANT those people in your life are, the people you love and care about, but don't always actively pursue, or seek out. how heavy, how weighty it is! how urgent, how apathetic i so easily become! it's not just "ministry" i need to get un-selfish and motivated about, it's simply about looking out for and LOVING, caring for gently, the people in my life. i have been BLESSED richly for a purpose. God didn't give me fabulous supportive healthy loving relationships just so I'd be happy; but that I and others would be doubly blessed through the Spirit in me.

what a great weekend!!!!!!!!!! where to even begin! CG thursday, biking lake merced with JH and Alyson, hanging with Mindy, discussing marriage/relationships;happy hour at Jade, crepes in Hayes valley with Anna, Diana, JH; movie in Jtown with Anna, Jim, Kelly, Jack et al then onto Zeitgeist; run to ferry bld Sat am with Jenny, Tony, Anna, Jung Hee, going through that tunnel and appearing in Chinatown, brunch down on the water, shopping and snacking with Jenny and Tony then muni back; dinner in Jtown with Deanna, Jenny, Aileen, Jung Hee then Karaoke at DoReMi; getting called off today (!) then Arizmendi and church with Deanna, Jung Hee, Anna; East Asia debrief and taqueria lunch with Deanna and Jung Hee, then onto Providence Place for singing and dancing to Beatles and praise songs with my new friends Daniel, Dirk, Dennis, Maggie, Rachel, Hanna and Lydia, May, Lisa...... then Deanna, Tony, and JH here for movie/pizza night (3rd sunday night running!). incredibly blessed.
