how you let the beat build beat build

double feature iron man and the hulk with tha crew tonight. college visits galore in the carolinas. a different hotel each night, meandering and finding our way again. good talks with that brother of mine; how awesome it is to experience God/pray in the context of community. my prayer before dinner gave him chills. also realizing how we are gifted in understanding some things innately. perry mentioning "dropping" and picking up the beat again. how i knew it, but could've never understood it. perry has rhythm and flow. how mel get's aesthetics of just about any kind and explains why things are appealing or beautiful. i could tell you i like it but not why. char gets language, lyds dance. ect. different gifts. perry exclaiming that i was the most selfless (which is ridiculous and because i spend money on them and comes really naturally in the familial context). i realized i get/love words, writing, lyrics, etc. therefore i must write, at least a little, of something, anything, every day. and read some every day. just to stay sharp, keep growing, etc. mom agrees she should do the same. a small thing but important. nurture.

dreamt of a monday off.  a long race with CG. KC said she could half-run intermittently, a new dark haired caucasian girl in our midst.  a grassy balcony section where we watched some auction-like thing, with humanized animals running the show, mimicking some children's film i was familiar with.  many friends were there. other tidbits i cannot recall.  waking up central time is painful. ouch.
